Alla prima oil painting of juvenile Morelia Spilota Cheynei (Jungle Carpet Python) based on our own snake “Fluffy” and held true to his actual markings. Fluffy was a rescue snake and is approximately 1.2m long at the time of painting (29 September 2023).

Included in “Nature” exhibition from 27th October 2023-5 November 2023 at Richard Randall Art Studio at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha Toowong QLD Australia.

Langridge professional oil paints with Liquin Original medium on Poly-cotton canvas adhered to 9mm premium ply board (with archival PVA glue). Currently has one coat of Windsor Newton retouch varnish. Final varnish to be applied in April 2024.

Currently framed in black floater frame, ready to hang.
